Food Spot 01
Since classes started, I finally got the chance to finish up this blog post. My apologies for the delay (2 months to be exact), but this was supposed to be posted during the summer.
If you are looking for me on a Sunday afternoon, 80% of the time you can find me here at famous Chinatown of Houston, Bellaire. Here is where you can find an endless array of boba shops and a great variety of Asian restaurants. Nothing can really beat the authentic and well-priced cuisine ranging from Malaysian, Taiwanese, to Korean in such a close proximity to eachother. No matter your budget, you can surely find a place here to satisfy any of your cravings and hangryness. In addition to the restaurants, nothing can beat the unique pastry and atmosphere of the tea houses that can be only found here.
If you are looking for fresh breads, Six Ping is the place to go with everything made by hand and right in the store. And if you have a sweet tooth, the Jungle Café will surely satisfy that with their moose and cheese cakes. Then, for drinks it is just an endless array of boba shops such as ShareTea, Kungfu Tea, Boba Bar, with each store specializing in their specific blend of milktea. Bellaire is just my place to go whether I have family visiting, hanging with friends, or have dates.
Shirt | Forever 21 – Pants | Penshoppe
For this Sunday afternoon food trip, I went for a clean and casual look. I was hesitant when I bought these white pants as I was scared that it would be hard to pull off. After looking through lookbook and my closet, I was able to come up with outfit ideas. The best way to wear white pants would be to have it dressed up with collard or button down shirts. A shirt that is light in color or black would go great with the clean white pants. As for footwear, I found that a canvas type of shoes such as an oxford or boat shoes would match. I got these pants about 3 years ago and it is a straight fit from Penshoppe. Fair warning though, white pants are hard to maintain as even sitting down could put a stain on them.
