SPRING BREAK GOING URBAN
For this year’s Spring Break, I decided to do a staycation at Houston, and enjoy the comfort of home. I also wanted to take advantage of the 60 degree weather but still be comfortable and have a semi-dressed up look. I went with a casual luxe outfit, where casual wear collides with high end fashion to create a relaxed, yet chic outfit.
It may seem contradicting to look “dressed up” while being laid back, but it is actually easy to achieve. For this look, I took a pair of nice trousers, white plain sneakers, with a brown colored tee. For accessories, I wore it with my wooden beaded bracelet, and a leather watch. The key idea for casual luxe is to wear one formal piece and combining it something casual. Any color combination of neutrals or nudes would work and also any plain white sneakers. For a more formal look, you can also tuck in your tee and belts are optional.
This is one of my favorite go-to looks as there are just days where I want to look classy. This removes the hassle of dress shirts such as being too hot or winkling. With this looks, you can go about your day in comfort and maximum movement and flexibility.
